yuhinonnon
A brewery with 140 years of history that survived the end of the Edo period and World War II and continues to make sake even today
We take pride in using our own Yamada-Nishiki rice, which we grow ourselves as the highest quality, top-grade sake rice, and we produce our own rice in a style rarely seen in Japan, giving us an image of a French winery.
The Oatoro series has three sakes available at Takebayashi.
This sake is "dense". It's very dense. It has a round rice flavor that lingers on the tongue forever, and its texture is very impressive. But it is not heavy at all. As the brewer says, "Iwashimizu's nectar" is the best way to describe it.
It was another discovery of a new way of drinking.
