Kumakichi
While I was making my usual rounds of liquor stores, I came across a familiar bottle of Kaze no Mori sake and an unfamiliar dog tag with the number "6" on it.
ALPHA6 from Kaze no Mori
I didn't know such a thing existed - I opened the bottle the night I bought it!
The bottle opens with a pleasant 'clunk' sound, typical of Kaze no Mori! The first sip was just as described, with a mellow aroma of green melon and cucumber, a soft sweet flavor, and the unique Akitsuho acidity that gradually spread out, and I finished the bottle lightly!
It was priced at 1,980 yen for 500ml, but this amount seems to be just right!
Rice polishing ratio: 66% (100% Akitsuho from Nara Prefecture)
Alcohol content: 16%.
Yeast: No.6 yeast
