＜Sweet and tasty, with a hint of hazelnut flavor.
Following the previous post, another limited edition sake from the Shinshu Jizake Hanpukai.
The aroma is of gentle white grapes and a hint of refreshing alcohol. It is beautiful.
In the mouth, it has a gentle sweetness. I thought it would be more gentle than the Yamada-Nishiki I had just tasted. But then, in the second half, the sweet alcohol hits! It has a strange flavor like hazelnut liqueur. Yum!
I also like hazelnut liqueur such as Frangelico. But I've never had a sake with such a flavor.
As it warms up, the sweetness opens up even more. The sweetness is not strong, but it is very impressive.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, it would be Sophie, the main character in "Howl's Moving Castle. It's not a strong assertion, but it clearly has a special power. And the second half is sweet.
