Junmai Ginjo Good Omen, Autumn limited edition
Abekan Sake Brewery is located in Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture, and although overshadowed by Urakasumi in terms of name recognition, Abekan is famous in my opinion mainly for its honest yet new style of sake brewing.
It is also good that they do not forget to be playful, collaborating with other breweries in the prefecture and creating unusual labels.
This time, the label is double-layered, and when you flip over the magnificent chicken, you will see what you will find on ...... from the back.
The taste is nothing to write home about. It has a sharp yet soft taste with a clean aftertaste. It goes well with saury, salmon, and bonito.
There are many autumn sake, but you will not find one that goes so well with autumn fish.
