This is a year-end review post.
I went to Higan, a kappo (Japanese-style restaurant) recommended by a colleague at work.
As the name suggests, it is a kappo restaurant with a full lineup of Japanese sake, which takes its name from the fantastic sake "Higan" (鄙願).
The first sake we were served was Hana Yuu Junmai Ginjo Omachi.
The fruity ginjo aroma and the smooth texture on the tongue gave way to the sweetness and umami that is typical of Omachi. It was a highly anticipated drink from the start.
