It is somewhat dry and crisp, and does not have the odd habit of being too alcoholic, as is often the case with honjozo sake. However, there is no sense of umami, and for better or worse, it is a clear and refreshing sake with no distinctive characteristics. It is a type of sake that complements food by not asserting itself. ⭐️⭐️ Drank at a hotel during a family vacation in December. I compared it with other sakes of the same lineage, and it seems to be a good cosmetic drink.
