Kyohime紫 純米大吟醸
ようこ
At first, I'm ashamed to say that I didn't know which one was the sake name... It's a Junmai Daiginjo called "Murasaki". The label also has an elegant Kyoto-like feel. At first sip, I groaned, "Mmm⁉︎", but once you get used to it, it's light. The flavor is refreshing and light.
I tend to classify sake as masculine or feminine, but this sake has a feminine softness and sweetness. But as the name "Hime" suggests, it has a refreshing taste that is not mature.
I heard that it won an award for being delicious in a wine glass, but I want to pair it with Japanese food (even though I drink it in a wine glass).
