It has a nice aroma of rice and is mild on the palate. It has a calm and elegant sweetness and umami of rice, followed by a gentle acidity. It has a long aftertaste.
Personally, I thought it was too sweet, but I was surprised that both the sake and the oden tasted even better when paired with oden. Hiya - A sake that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways when lukewarm.
