Lingering: A strong acidity lingers in the mouth.
Impression: More of a umami type
Rumored to be made with wine yeast, this sake was featured in Kami no Shizuku.
In a word, I did not feel the slightest hint of wineiness. Rather, there is a nice aroma of rice, but it has a negative aroma like the smell of steamed shoes, which gives a strange impression.
The taste was not bad by any means, but it was a unique sake with a strong lactic acidity and a slight acetic acidity. I do not like the lingering taste that sticks to the tongue.
On its own, it is a bit peculiar, but it goes well with food, and the lingering aftertaste is not bothersome.
However, since it differs slightly from other people's comments, it is possible that the taste has changed since it was first introduced to the public, or that it was made slightly differently this year.
We would love to hear your opinions.
