My favorite sake from Kisugi Shuzo.
This time, it is a lightly nigori junmai sake called Sakura.
The rice is Gohyakumangoku and the polishing ratio is 70%.
Perhaps it was a storage problem, but there was no bubbling sensation when I opened the bottle.
First, let's try the top clear water.
It is soft and tart, with a hint of sweetness from the rice and a sense of strength.
Suppressing the desire to drink it as it is, next we shake it and try it with muddiness.
It has a beautiful cloudy color and you can feel the gentle ori in your mouth and enjoy the rice more.
In a good way, you can enjoy the usu-nigori in this unadorned junmai-shu.
My friend was with me, so we finished it all at once, but I would have liked to try it after letting it sit overnight while chilling in the fridge.
It's a delicious sake, one you can feel at home with and enjoy!
