ワカ太
After stopping halfway through La Jomon's Dewa in tears (the master wanted to put it to bed), the next sake we opened was Raifuku. It is a sake from Ibaraki.
It is a Natsurei made from Watafune, the father of Yamada-Nishiki rice. When the bottle was opened, the aroma was subdued. I bought it because I was told it would be refreshing, but I could taste the sweetness as it passed down my throat. There was almost no bitterness, and the slight sourness at first and the sweetness as it went down my throat gave me a gentle and refreshing impression.
This is delicious 😋💕
It goes great with hot plate kawara soba 👍.
