It's good with hot sake.
It's less peculiar than Tamagawa's Yamahai series, but it's got that robust umami flavor that is typical of Tamagawa, and the alcohol that comes out of the nose makes it refreshing and easy to drink, and it goes well with meals.
I prefer the punchier Yamahai when I drink Tamagawa, but many people seem to find this one easier to drink ^_^.
