Sakonishiki is a sake rice that I have never heard of before.
It is a daiginjo, but there is no ginjo aroma. On the palate, there is a slight sweetness from the rice. The taste is firm but light, with a touch of bitterness and a sharp finish.
When heated, it tastes soft and fluffy. Delicious. It is also delicious when heated.
I would like to drink it heated in an air conditioned room in the summer. This is the most delicious heated sake I've ever had.
