I went to Kumamoto Prefecture.
Since I had come all this way, I selected Nanaho Snake from among the sake on display at the store.
It was left at room temperature at the store, so I put it in the freezer to drink as soon as possible! Once the sake was cooled down to a crisp, we opened the bottle. I filled a glass and moved it to the refrigerator. The sake was served with Jidori chicken tataki, horse mackerel sashimi, and cod roe.
The first sip was very tasty, with a clear, crisp taste, a nice smooth taste, and just the right amount of acidity. The second glass, very cold, is also delicious! I think this sake tastes better when it is very cold. After that, the four-pack was quickly emptied with Kyushu's snacks and delicious sake.
As one would expect from Kumamoto, where the water is clean! It is famous for its shochu (Japanese liquor), but it is no match for Kumamoto! I will buy it again when I have a chance!
