It's a Junmai Ginjo, so I thought it would be smooth, but it's yellowish in color, and the rough rice and acidity come out in the mouth. It's a little tough to drink cold sake. It's best to drink it warmed up. As for the snacks, it's a plump, hearty rice sake that's great to pair with a sweet and spicy soy sauce or miso-based dish instead of rice, but I personally think Iwashita's fresh ginger is the best match! I think the sourness goes well with it. Sushi is a combination of vinegared rice and sweetness of the ingredients, so it seems to go well with Sushi.
