It was a souvenir pestered from a younger colleague who went on an "expedition" to Hakata.
Daiginjo, 40% polished rice, 16% alcohol.
I can understand the smoothness or the clear mouthfeel that comes from the rice that has been thoroughly polished. However, whether it is to my taste or not, I don't think I like it that much.
It is what is called dry.
