Minonishiki芭蕉水門川 純米
カチカチ山
Purchased at a souvenir shop during a summer visit to Ogaki.
From the look of the label, I thought it would be a refreshing summer sake, but it was quite dry.
The aroma is gentle and rounded, typical of sake, and when you put it in your mouth, you will feel a soft and round taste, followed by a spiciness that will hit your tongue.
It goes down the throat cleanly and leaves a moderate spiciness.
It is a sake that you would want to pair with a hot pot.
