Concentrated sweetness like honey apple and a gorgeous aromatic entrance, but from the beginning a bitterness or a miscellaneous taste? (hard to describe, but a disagreeable miscellaneous taste? Minerality?) (It's hard to describe, but it's a bitterness or a miscellaneous taste? Is this Omachi's character? It is different from Yamadanishiki Jikin (Yamadanishiki is stronger in sweetness). Toward the latter half of the bottle, the bitterness continues and a full, rice-like flavor can be felt, but there is almost no aftertaste once the wine has been swallowed. I personally prefer Yamadanishiki, but this is probably the best Omachi sake yet! It will take a little more time to understand the goodness of Yumachi. It is better at room temperature. 4.75
