武侯祠
I had been curious about this brand for a while since it was highly recommended in the liquor store's newsletter. I brought it home, chilled it, let it rest, and now open the bottle. The sweetness jumped out at me first, I didn't really feel like I was drinking sake, and I thought it would be appreciated by people who are not good at sake, but it is not a light sake. This is delicious, I can see why it is so popular.
As I was thinking about this, it occurred to me that while I like artisanal sake that retains a ruggedness like Kitajima and Ganki, and I like mellow ones like Oroku, for some reason I am drinking sweet, sour, refreshing sake more frequently. In order to enjoy a wide range of territory, I will try to drink in a well-balanced way.

Jay & Nobby, thank you for your comments. You shouldn't think you understand a sake just by drinking one bottle, should you? This Jungin was good, so I will try another one.
