I found an unfamiliar label mixed in with the local Tochigi sake at the supermarket.... I picked it up because it looked like there was some left over from the Kamikawa Taisetsu ⁉︎ Goryo or Tokachi ⁉︎ Hokkaido Fair 🤗.
The aroma is subdued, but sweet like a cherry drop if you include it. It has a malted rice aroma and a bitter aftertaste. I think I'll try the other half with warmed sake...
On the second day, I warmed it up to lukewarm and it tasted sweet and sour, another delicious taste 😚...but the bitterness remained. I want to be able to say "this is delicious!
I'd like to be able to say that it is delicious...along with cheese crackers, a souvenir from Hokkaido.
