Since I was in the mood today, I opened it right away.
As Mr. Mochizuki, the fifth generation brewer, comments, "What is this aroma? Lychee, Muscat, grapefruit?"
The intense and refreshing fruit aroma, the sourness, and the slight bitterness certainly make me think so... To me, it tastes like a combination of Muscat and grapefruit...
This is the first time I've ever drunk Mizuho-no-ka sake rice, and this bottle, with its pleasant umami and lingering aftertaste, was certainly a taste I haven't experienced very often!
