I drank Oden🍢 Manotsuru at a restaurant and liked it so much that I was looking for it to drink at home and found it at Asano Sake Shop in Kyoto.
The rice is Koshitanrei, a Niigata sake rice made from Yamadanishiki and Gojumangoku. 🌾.
The taste is a combination of the best of both rice varieties, with an initial sweetness, a touch of acidity as you sip, and finally a spiciness that disappears after a few sips. It is a collaboration of the gorgeousness of Yamada-Nishiki and the dryness of Niigata. I found a sake that I like. 😋😋😋😋😋
