After a hard day of sightseeing in Hiraizumi and Hanamaki, I dozed off at the hotel. I thought about having a convenience store meal for dinner, but I got up and went to "Momodori Ekimae Shokudo". The energetic owner asked me if I wanted to have a drink or a meal. A cheerful owner asked me if I wanted a drink or a meal. When I told him that I like to drink warm sake, he served me sake.
We had aji-take mushrooms, butterbur and herring (delicious), a piece of their famous grilled chicken, and an additional piece of nikutou-dofu (meat and tofu). The niku-tofu (meat and tofu) was also delicious, lightly seasoned with Japanese soup stock, but there was so much on the plate that I was full. I ate too much!
