kikoIt's been a while since we had a sake from Miyagi. We chose a dry sake because we had a lot of sweet sake. It has a slight sweetness from the rice, but not a fruity sweetness. It is refreshing, not too sweet, not too harsh, just right, and the aftertaste is smooth. It is a perfect sake for a meal. It is an ideal sake. It's not flashy, but it's stable and you'll want to drink it anytime. As you would expect from Miyagi, the level is high.

kikoThe sake rice is made from Sasanishiki rice grown in Miyagi. I was surprised that they could make such a high quality sake with rice.
