This local sake was recently introduced in a local newspaper and was served to the leaders at last year's G7 summit. Brewed with rose yeast from "Mr. Lincoln" with the cooperation of Fukuyama University, we were curious to know what it tasted like, so we bought it as soon as we got the information that it was on the store shelves 😊.
It's a gorgeous sake with a floral, subtle aroma, but the overall atmosphere is similar to that of a white wine. The mouthfeel is gentle, with just the right amount of acidity and a subtle aftertaste. Very easy to drink! I felt 😄.
This sake has been selected as the welcome drink for the World Rose Conference to be held in Fukuyama City next year.
