Fusano KankikuChronicle 純米大吟醸 剣愛山
Ryohei
We had it again this year, Kangiku from Kenaiyama.
Personally, I think it is the best autumn sake in the modern sake category.
Kangiku is characterized by a good marriage of sourness, bitterness, and sweetness, and this sake, which takes advantage of the characteristics of Kenaiyama, has a low acidity and a rich sweetness that can be felt directly. The dark sweetness, different from the gorgeousness of Yamada-Nishiki, is addictive. Yet, it is not at all kudosy and is easy to drink.
I had it last year, and it is much more palatable and delicious than last year.
For this season, I like Jyuseki for autumn sakes that are more classic, Banshu Issen for sakes that are in between modern and classic, and Kangiku for modern sakes!
I am looking forward to next year's event!
Thank you very much for your hospitality!
