This is Kurumizaka's first autumn sake of the season, which we enjoyed last year as well. I checked the record and found that last year's first autumn sake was also Kurumazaka Aki-agari. I like this brewery because I want to drink it whenever I see it.
Let's drink it right away.
The aroma is centered around the deliciousness of the rice, with complex acidity, sweetness, and bitterness. It has the depth that is typical of Yamahai. It is gentle and pleasant.
The mouthfeel is also pleasant, with a good balance of acidity, umami, and sweetness. Each flavor seems to be in harmony. From there, the umami and acidity gradually and naturally swell. The hints of rice flavor and a hint of alcohol are also wonderful. Wow!
As the temperature rises to near room temperature, the flavors open up and become even more pronounced. This would also be delicious heated!
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, I would say Tatsuo Kusakabe from "My Neighbor Totoro" is the father of Satsuki and Mei. He is the father of Satsuki and May. He is gentle and his acting is not like Shigesato Itoi's voice acting, which is very tasteful.
