On the way back from a mountain climbing trip to Fukushima with a friend, my friend purchased this sake at a liquor store in Aizu Sakashita-cho!
While many obviously good sake were chilling in the fridge, my friend, a challenger, dared to buy the fire-brewed one on the shelf.
We returned to our hometown and started the launch of the climb!
He opened a bottle of this Tenmei and I had a sip, and what a complex taste it had!
I sometimes see the word "complex" used to describe the taste of sake, and this was the kind of sake that I thought must be complex.
When I put it in my mouth, there was no strong spiciness or sweetness, and while it went in easily, the flavor changed in my mouth. Moreover, the changed taste changed even more. It was delicious! What is the meaning of this? I couldn't help but say, "It's so good!
For someone like me, who used to actively choose and drink nama-sake, this was a very new discovery, and it made me want to try even more of the various Tenmei!
