Traveled to Niigata for one night from the 4th of GW😊The first day was in Niigata city! We went to Marchepia Bandai in Minato. I was going to take my time and eat some grilled seafood, but there were too many people, so I ate a rice ball and some grilled seafood and quickly left the place. Next, we went to Marinepia Nihonkai, and then went to an izakaya (Japanese-style bar) for the evening!
The first drink we had there was Hokusetsu Kinsei! I have always liked Sado sake, so I started with this one (^o^). The aroma is mild, and when you drink it from there, it has a moderate sweetness and a refreshing feeling. It is a sake that goes down smoothly without much sourness or bitterness! The aftertaste is also refreshing and goes well with anything! Other reviews say it tastes great warmed up. It is indeed true! Goes well with fried tofu from Tochio and sashimi!
