I feel like I haven't had sake in a while. Recently, I had stopped buying sake because of a series of sweet sake and also because I had to replace my refrigerator. The ban on sake has been lifted.
The refrigerators at the liquor stores are already in the middle of autumn. The weather is still in the middle of lingering summer heat.
We have been drinking sake like juice, so we are going to have some sake.
This time, I was able to buy it without much hesitation at the liquor store. First of all, this sake is a stable one.
The taste is the same as usual. It is crisp and tight, with spiciness and bitterness coming to the fore. And when you roll it around in your mouth, you can really taste a slight sweetness. This may be the key point. After all, it has a lot of flavor. It is usually refreshing, but if you are used to drinking it, you can tell that it is full, or rather, rich. At first sip, I thought it was ayu fish. Today, I paired it with octopus from Sanriku. The octopus is very tasty, but I think it is a bit overpowered by the sake. I think red southern bluefin tuna would be a good choice.
