This was the first time I bought Hirotogawa. I bought it because it is a popular sake and has a reputation for being good cold or warm. I started with it cold. The mouthfeel of the drink is like water in your mouth. Huh? Water? But then the flavor of the rice and the refreshing acidity followed, and there was a nice aftertaste. It's really good. Next, let's try heating it up. The acidity stands out, and you get a sense of maturity. But it's not overpowering, and I can't stop drinking it. When you drink this kind of sake, you can't help but say, "Cool! You can't help but say "Koooo! It would go well with pickled radish and iburi-gakko cheese. I don't have any at home, but I think it's a good sake for both beginners and experienced drinkers.
