The winter Nigori-no-Golympics have begun, so let's start with this one. It is not nigori sake, but rather orikara sake.
I was scared to open the bottle because of the warning on the bottle neck, but I was not surprised because it was just a light shriek. It was just a little bit of orizumi coming up.
In the mouth, there is a fine swirl, a smooth sweetness, and a bit of astringent bitterness as it goes down the throat. It's cohesive - high overall score.
Not too sweet but juicy fresh. It was a delicious sake, fresh and refreshing and light until the aftertaste.
And for some reason, I had mistaken Banshu Issen for Hiroshima sake, which was the biggest shock to me.
