I bought it at the event in Ikebukuro Seibu. I was so excited to have a chance to talk with the president of Saint! I wish I hadn't hesitated to have my picture taken with him.
When I think about it, I've drunk a lot of Sei, but this was my first time to try Hizirizm! The label is made of felt fabric, and it's so rich and gorgeous! I'm excited even before I drink it!
The aroma is not that strong, which I like. The sourness, umami, bitterness, and sweetness come out in sequence as you drink it, and it's like a story. The sweetness is elegant and gentle!
In fact, it has the density and vigor of unfiltered nama-gara straight from the tank, but it's strange that it has a gentle mouthfeel! Some people might say it's half-baked. LOL!
The second day is more full of flavor and I'm liking it more and more.
I can't believe that Sei's Ikkan has come this far. It has reached the level where you would be convinced if you were served it as a premium sake.
I've always preferred the fast brewing version of Sei, but from now on, it may be the right choice for both!
