Chokki
Fukuwagura Junmai Ginjyo Nama Shu
60% 15%, 300ml
Mr. U of Kinsho-kai gave us a small bottle of this sake. It is made from Kami no Hobo sake produced in Mie Prefecture.
I thought for a moment that it might be a bit dry, but it is sweet with a strong aftertaste. It tastes like white wine.
The aroma was too sweet and smelly. I wonder if the Mie Prefecture yeast, MK3, is responsible for the artificial ginjo aroma.
It's a high-class sake that costs 2,400 yen for a four-pack, but it's still in a realm I don't understand. But thank you, Mr. U!
