At a local liquor store that I frequent, I saw an unfamiliar alcoholic beverage on the shelves, and I bought it on impulse.
I looked closer and saw that it was "other brewed sake," which I think is against the rules for sakewa, but please forgive me 😅.
The brewer is LIBROM CRAFT SAKE BREWERY
It is a craft sake bar with a brewery and a bar inside, based on the concept of "making sake culture more accessible. They have a koji room where they carefully make koji by hand, which is said to be the heart of sake brewing, and add secondary ingredients to the brewing process and press them to offer a variety of sake flavors 😎.
They had several kinds of sake on hand, but I chose "lavender" 😚.
Opening the bottle 😍.
I popped the screw cap and it blew out vigorously while I was saying oooh and ahhh 😅.
It's a carbonated drink 😎.
It smells slightly of lavender 😲.
The taste is lavender?
I've never had lavender, so I'm not sure if it tastes like lavender, but the aroma that comes after the throat hit is lavender 😲.
What an interesting taste 😁.
