Purchased by the bottle at a local liquor store. It is a Junmai Daiginjo made from 100% Asahi no Yume, 50% polished rice. I had it cold.
The aroma of tropical fruits is not unlike the fruity sweetness of a pineapple on the palate. The bitterness follows at the end. This time, we served it with grilled eringi mushrooms and grilled horse mackerel using Aburiya 2, but we prefer it as an aperitif or after-dinner drink to enjoy its sweetness. I prefer to enjoy it as an aperitif or after-dinner drink.
