Comet (Shah)
Sake familiar to Nagano residents through commercials.
First time? Maybe I drank it? No, I think I drank some comet once upon a time.
I went to Suzaka and stopped by Endo Sake Brewery on my way home.
There were many different kinds of sake, but I bought this comet and amazake, which I could take home at room temperature.
Comet HALLEY Junmai Jikkumi
The label on the back says it all. A mild aroma and mellow taste.
Exactly as it says, it is a sake that never gets tired.
Cold sake is good, and the mellowness comes out when it is cold.
We enjoyed it with Daiginjo cake which has a good aroma of sake.
Day 2. I poured the comet over the Daiginjo cake as if I was soaking pound cake in milk.
Ugh, yumashi (laugh).
