The taste is somewhat bland and lacking in character, but (in my opinion) the high level of perfection shows the technical skill of a legendary brewery. While there are many sakes that have a strong impact, this one does not rely on a catchy personality, but rather maintains a blurring stance in its pursuit of the ultimate in lightness, which gives it the air of a champion.
