I was planning to work a little overtime today, but after receiving a text from my wife that she was sick, I decided to leave immediately. I eat dinner with the kids, brush their teeth, and put them to bed. After my wife and children were asleep, I got up from the futon and went to the supermarket.
I think to myself, "It would be a big help to my wife if I made some side dishes for her.
I check my phone to see what's in my repertoire and think of ingredients. I decided to make okara (bean curd). I buy a bottle of "Tosatsuru" to take home with me. The Hakkaisan sake I drank at a bar earlier was so good that I decided to look for a good, inexpensive sake. The first one was "Tosatsuru," a well-known and inexpensive sake.
Returning home, I closed the door to the nursery and turned on the light in the kitchen. I cut burdocks and carrots into thin strips and stir-fry them. I hope that the children will enjoy eating them, and proceed to cook with a glass of sake in my hand.
Tosatsuru tasted like cheap sake.
