I got my eye on a shiny-eyed Nagasaki ogre scorpionfish (arakababu) at the fish store, so I bought it ♫ sweet and spicy! Since it was boiled, the sake to go with it is "Drunken Whale".
I'm always impressed that Drunken Whale is excellent as a mealtime drink. It has a good balance of sourness and umami, so it complements any dish. The sweetness of Arakabuni (Nagasaki soy sauce) combined with Drunken Whale creates a new taste.
What's on the menu that day?
Simmered demon scorpionfish
Ascidian vinegar
Sashimi of sea bream
Tomato and cucumber salad
Deep-fried baby sardines with condiments

That's a fine ogre scorpion! It would go great with a drunken whale! I took the liberty of fantasizing about this delicious food and drink from the photos! It's a great way to end the day. (✧Д✧) But even if you look at it, your cooking skills are at a professional level.

Hi hyysk, good evening. I used to work in the kitchen of a ryokan, so I like to cook. I'm especially fond of fish, so I tend to buy them.
