As is typical of unfiltered, unfiltered sake, it is slightly effervescent and has a strong flavor, not too much aroma, and a good acidity, which makes it very drinkable.
It can be enjoyed on its own, or with Nara-zuke cheese or miso pickles.
Kozutsuru is very stable.
