Tokachi😎, the first Hokkaido sake I have had in a long time.
I'll have it with high expectations.
I was told that it can be enjoyed cold, room temperature, or lukewarm, so I started with the lukewarm sake!
Pouring it into a sake cup, it has a slightly yellowish color.
The aroma is sour and refreshing.
The sweet and sourness jumped in first, followed by bitterness, and then the freshness spread further down the throat 😚.
Instantly, you feel as if you are drinking a light plum wine 😉.
When served cold, the flavor was gentler than lukewarm.
The freshness of the plum wine is followed by a hint of sourness.
The throat feel is very gentle and pleasant 😋.
The sourness lingers on the back of the tongue and a bit of bitterness appears 😎.
The change in flavor is unusual and keeps me entertained without getting tired of drinking it 🤤.
