The first impression upon opening the bottle was of sour muscat juice, and if you weren't told it was sake, you might mistake it for sparkling white wine or cider. After the second glass, the refreshing acidity mixed with the delicious rice flavor gave it a complex taste. Anyway, it is low in alcohol and can be drunk endlessly and easily.
