I haven't bought much Kaze no Mori in the past year or two, but the recent No. 6 yeast was so good that I didn't hesitate to buy the 25th anniversary sake.
The aroma has a muscat and cemedine flavor, which is typical of Kaze no Mori. This is a nice aroma. The gasiness is strong.
Kaze no Mori gives the impression of being sweet, but this sake is not so sweet. The acidity is more dominant, but it is crisp and dry, which I really like.
The second half finishes with umami and a weak bitterness. The alcohol feeling at the end of the drink gives me a hot feeling in my chest.
The price was fair, but the taste was more than worth the price. I always have the impression that Kaze no Mori is always delicious when it comes to such special events, so I'll be sure to check it out again in the future.
