The brewery is located on Kuroishi Komise Street and was closed when we visited. However, both of the all-inclusive hotels we stayed at during our trip to Tsugaru had Kameyoshi, so it is a local sake that is loved by the locals from the very beginning👍.
It is a perfect match for any Tsugaru ryokan cuisine. It is a medium-bodied sake with a pleasant, full mouthfeel that is easy to drink. We have tried it at room temperature, warmed up, and on the rocks, but we recommend "at room temperature for Japanese food" and "on the rocks for Japanese/Western cuisine. ❣️
The "Bonchi-age" I happened to have after dinner and the Kameyoshi on the rocks was quite a marriage 😆.
Not fancy, but a very satisfying local sake in a humble way. Thanks for the treat 😋.
