Past Drinking. Ishikawa's Sake Event, Sake Marche Week 2023 A collaboration between Ishikawa's sake breweries and famous restaurants. What I went to was a collaboration between Ishikawa's original sake rice Hyakumangoku No Shiro, Italian and Choco Cafe. A sommelier was on hand to marry the sake from the 12 breweries that brew Hyakumangoku-no-shiro. It seemed impossible, but I took on the challenge. Please forgive me if my memory is a little fuzzy.
The first one was Tomato Bisa and Takeba Daiginjo. The gorgeous aroma and the acidity of tomatoes go well together.
