In the fall, I bought a bottle of Shigaizumi, which I had never seen before, at Masuya Brewery in Inagi City.
I was a little worried because it had been a while since I bought it, but when I opened the bottle I was pleasantly surprised to find a strong fruit aroma.
The first sip was a strong pineapple flavor. The aroma, sweetness, and bitterness are all pineapple liquor.
If you drink it with your eyes closed, you can think of it as a hana-yosu, which is difficult to purchase these days.
The aroma and sweetness are strong, but a little bitterness cuts through the bitterness, so you can't stop drinking more and more.
It is also delicious as a food sake.
This is a wonderful sake.
I recommend it to sake beginners as well as those who are having trouble buying Hanayo Kuyu.
There are very few sake stores that carry it, so if you see it, give it a try.
