The aroma is mild, and the taste has a nice sourness, perhaps derived from the sake rice, like a bite of an apple.
It is a delightful variation from Tasake's signature Junmai sake, which is a more complete version of Tokujun.
It is a great match for sushi, and is a superb sake in that it does not insist on being a "food sake" in its own right.
