Today we are drinking at home with sea bream sashimi bought at the fence. I finally drank sake that my father sent me at the beginning of the year.
It has a mild taste and goes well with sashimi. I feel it has a pungent aftertaste when drunk on its own, but I think it enhances the flavor of the sea bream better when served with sea bream sashimi than when drunk on its own. Delicious!
As I continued to drink it, the temperature rose and it became more rounded. I think I might like it at about cold temperature. The higher the temperature, the less sharpness it has.
I think it is a sake that goes well with meals.
Sake is interesting because you can discover many things about it depending on the brand and type.
