My favorite Saku.
We compared two made from the same rice, Yamadanishiki.
The "Yamadanishiki Junmai Ginjo" was so good that when I opened the bottle, I was convinced that I would like it. I was convinced that I would like it just from that.
A little tangy, fresh and fruity, with acidity. Yum!
The "hiya oroshi" has a nice tangy taste, but it's also very tangy! and tangy! but it was mellow and thick. It was mellow and thick.
My preference is for the refreshing Yamadanishiki Junmai Ginjo (......), but honestly...they're both good! Saku is the best! (lol!)
By the way, a few days after opening the bottle, the Yamadanishiki Junmai Ginjo was getting mellower and closer to Hiyayoroshi!
It was very interesting to realize for the first time that the taste changes over time.
